I was at a recent meeting sponsored by Independent Communicators Alliance, a group consisting of graphic designers, writers and PR folks, and was pleasantly surprised to learn more great things about the talented folks in our community and industry. Alex hosted the group at his office in Cary and spoke to us about video, the how to do this yourself and why and when you might want to consider a pro. We talked cameras, file formats and a little about his “secrets” to good video. At the end of our meeting Alex suggested one of us do a demo video, just for fun! and the group choose me, (I have no idea why?) to chat up PechaKucha. I am always happy to talk PechaKucha so we shot this little video in just 3 minutes, three takes, and no script.
I wasn’t seriously planning on using it because, well, we shot it in 3 mins, three takes and no script, but everyone agreed it was “cute” so there you are. Thanks again to Alex for donating his time and effort. And Alex, if we can do anything to help you out, let us know!
