PKN Vol.8 – 9.15 ideaSPARK

Jul 11, 2011

SPARKcon is about showcasing our local talent AND coming up with ideas to foster it. Over the past 4 years, ideaSPARK results have impacted and influenced the development of the area in abstract and concrete ways, including the design of the Raleigh City Plaza site and the inclusion of local designers in recent city proposal requests.

PechaKucha Night Raleigh starts off SPARKcon with an awesome ideaSPARK event. This well attended and much anticipated event will take place at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences on Thursday September 15. Doors open at 5:40pm and the show begins at 6:40pm. The evening will showcase over 10 different presenters, all chosen for their enthusiasm about their topic and willingness to share ideas benefiting our community. As with all good PechaKucha Nights there will be plenty of chit-chat within a casual atmosphere and of course a liberal amount of beer and wine. Our shows are open to all ages, but some material may not be suitable for young children.
