To help celebrate Global PechaKucha week February 20-26, our next PechaKucha Night will focus on talks with a theme of “LOVE of Community.”
Global PechaKucha Night RALEIGH is Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
PechaKucha Night Raleigh Vol.10 will take place at The Union Tavern on Wednesday, February 22. Doors open at 5:40pm and the show begins at 6:40pm. This evening is special because it celebrates “Love of Community” and is part of Global PechaKucha week. Our presenters were chosen for their enthusiasm about their topic and love of community.
Our emcee for the evening is Cris Cohen, writer, social media specialist, and author of ”Staying Crazy To Keep From Going Insane”
Yelp will be there early to show Raleigh some extra love by playing “Name that Business” and will give winners swag and prizes.
As with all good PechaKucha Nights there will be plenty of chit-chat within a casual atmosphere and of course spirits from the bar. Our shows are open to all ages, but some material may not be suitable for young children.

February Theme: LOVE of Community
Love, or passion is a core component we see in many PKN talks, but we want to take it further. We want to celebrate love. Love of people, places or things in the Triangle area. So we are asking these questions?
- What do you absolutely LOVE in your community?
- What do you LOVE about your city?
- What specific places do you LOVE in your city?
- What services do you LOVE in your city?
- AND, Why do you LOVE it?
This video was shot at PKN Vol.8 event at the Museum of Natural Sciences by Larry Evans & Nick Helton.
PechaKucha Night Raleigh is seeking partners. Benefits include:
